It is anticipated that connections will begin in early Fall 2011 and the selected Building Sewer Inspector will need to be available for start-up operations at that time and until all connections are made. Collection System Operator Services* The Koontz Lake Regional Sewer District (KLRSD) is seeking a properly qualified Wastewater Collection System Operator for Low Pressure Sanitary Sewer Collection System. The collection system and treatment plant are currently under construction with completion anticipated in early Fall 2011. The selected Operator must be available for start-up operations at that time. Clean Water Plant Operator Services* The Koontz Lake Regional Sewer District (KLRSD) is seeking an IDEM Class II, or above, Wastewater Plant Operator for their Aero-Mod extended aeration Clean Water Treatment Plant. The plant is located south of Koontz Lake in the northeast corner of Starke County and the northwest corner of Marshall County on County Road 1175 E (plant address is 7315 N. 1175 E., Walkerton, IN 46574). An NPDES permit has already been obtained. The collection system is a low pressure sewer system comprised of 512 grinder pumps, 90,000 linear feet of force main and air release valves and will serve 900+ households and 30+ small businesses. The collection system and treatment plant are currently under construction with completion anticipated in early Fall 2011.
